ABOUT:

A well organized, well-managed, self-sustaining women and men's group, able to continuously support the spiritual, social, economic and political empowerment of women and men. We are a non-governmental, nonprofit making Organization committed to the empowerment of women and men, poverty reduction and enhancement of the dynamic Christian values among family members. We serve these causes by supporting the income generating activities, providing civic, health, formal and non-formal education and teaching of social and moral values.

 

Aims and Objectives:

  • To promote the Catholic faith and values among members (Catholic teachings and acceptance of the sacraments.)
  • To develop maximum awareness of the dignity and responsibilities of members as Christian women, wives, mothers, fathers, and citizens within the Catholic Church and society at large
  • To promote the spiritual, moral, and social economic advancement of women and men, thereby helping them to be fully integrated into society and bettering their standard of living wherever they may go.
  • To promote a true Catholic Christian family life and Christian Apostolate.
  • To promote Christian education in the Christian home.
  • To educate our members through seminars, workshops, conferences, skills for economic and political empowerment and Catholic doctrine.
  • To foster the acceptance and fulfilment of members' mission as Christian women and men in their domestic, social, and religious and civic life.
  • To foster cooperation with the organizations especially women and men organizations which have similar aspirations.

Membership:

Membership is open to all catholic men and women who aspire to the aims and objectives of the Christian Mothers and Fathers Association

MEETINGS:

We meet on every third Sunday of the month at 12:00 noon to discuss the affairs of the organization.

Currently we meet virtually via zoom at 6:00 pm on every third Sunday of the month due to the covid situation.

NOTE: This is subject to change when the covid situation gets better.
